ATLAS Study

When you have completed the HERCULES study, you may have the option to join the follow‑up study ATLAS. ATLAS is an 18‑month open‑label clinical study, meaning that no placebo is used and all participants receive mexiletine prolonged‑release (PR). The study aims to evaluate the long‑term safety and effectiveness of mexiletine PR and includes regular safety assessments. If you take part in ATLAS, you will visit the study doctor approximately six times and will be contacted by phone about four times. Please ask your study team for further details.
